Eleventh day of each lunar cycle is known as Ekadashi. Ekadashi that falls in the krishna paksha of Ashwiyuja month (Amavasyant) is called as Rama Ekadashi. As per north Indian Purnimant calenders it falls in the month of Karthik. It is believed that observing of Rama Ekadashi Vrat would help one to get rid of all the sins committed.
