Varuthini Ekadashi vrat is dedicated to God Vamana, Who is the fifth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Ovserving this vrat destroys all the sins and shows the path to ultimate salvation. According to the myths, kings Mandhaata and Dhundhumaar achieved salvation by observing ekadashi Vrat.
