Brahmotsavam Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD)
Brahmotsavam at Tirumala are the most sacred and auspicious festival that is conducted by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) .
Brahmotsavam means the Utsavam organized or performed by Brahma, the creator. It is believed that Brahma first started this Utsavam(celebration) and hence it is known as Brahmotsavam. Brahmotsavam is a tribute to Lord Sri Venkateshwara, by Brahma thanking Lord Venkateshwara for protecting and take care of the mankind.
Brahmotsavam at Tirumala is conducted for nine days by the Tirumal Tirupati Deavasthanam (TTD). The Brahmotsavam is conducted normally in the Asweeja or Aswayuja Masam. Below are the rituals that are followed during the Brahmotsavam.
