Pradosham is an auspecious day dedicated to lord Shiva. Pradosham falls on the 13th day (Trayodashi) of every lunar fortnight. On pradosham days, devotees of Hindu God Shiva fast from sunrise to sunset and they break the fast after performing the Pradosh pooja.
There are two pradoshams in every hindu lunar month. one in waxing moon period and another in Waning moon period. If the pradosham happens to be on monday it is considered more auspecious. Monday is also dedicated to god shiva.
The dates of Shani Pradhosha for the year 2015 is given below. These dates may differ by a day according to location and other things.
16th February 2015 – Monday – Soma Pradosh – Krishna Paksha
02nd March 2015 – Monday – Soma Pradosh – Shukla Paksha
29th June 2015 – Monday – Soma Pradosh – Shukla Paksha
13th July 2015 – Monday – Soma Pradosh – Krishna Paksha
