Pradosham, also known as Pradosh Vrat, is an auspicious day associated with God Shiva. Pradosh Vrat is observed on the Trayodasi tithi of the every lunar cycle. During each hindu month we have two Pradoshams.
God Shiva Devotees observe fast on Pradosham day and visit Shiva temples. This day they perform puja called pradosh kaal puja during the sunset. Vrat is considered to be highly auspicious and also gets rid of all the sins that are done in the past.
