Narasimha is the fourth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. This is a half human and half loin form of God Vishnu. God appeared in this form to destroy rakshas Hiranyakashipu. Narasimha Jayanti is celebrated in grand manner in God Vishnu and ISCON temples. On this day, devotees observe fast, perform daan and keep vigil in the night.
