Purna Kumbh Mela is celebrated for every twelve years. This is the year of Purna Kumbh mela. Official start of kumbh mela is on the Monday, 14th January 2013. Usual Kumbh mela starts on Sunday, 27th January and ends on Monday, 25th February 2013.
Kumbh Mela is one of the greatest pilgrimage gatherings in India. This is the Purna Kumbh mela event, which occurs once in a 12 years. People come from around the world to take a dip in the holy rivers Ganga, Yamuna and the mystical Saraswati. Maha Kumbh Festival 2013 is expected to be one of the biggest celebration in the history of mankind. More than 10 crores pilgrims are expected to this event.
