Ksheerabdi Dwadasi is a Hindu festival dedicated to God Vishnu. According to a story after the end of Chaturmasa vrat God vishnu wakes up on ekadashi day and visits earth on dwadashi day.Tulsi is also worshipped on the Ksheerabdi Dwadahi day. Dhatri Havan and Tulsi Vivah are also performed on this day.
Ksheerabdi Dwadasi Vrat is Performed on the twelfth day of the Shukla Paksha in the hindu lunar month of Kartika. This year, Ksheerabdi Dwadasi is on Sunday, 25th November 2012. In some areas this is also known as Damodara Dwadashi.
