After this the new yagnopaveetham for Bhramacharis it is made of 3 threads, while for Gruhastas it is made of 3 sets each set containing 3 threads and a total ofnine threads.
Apply turmeric at three places for all the threads. Recite the following Mantras while applying turmeric and please install each god into each thread. The following mantras would install the respective god in each thread

This is very helpful and made me feel very good after I was able to read this. However, I have a qustion here – when I got new jandhyam at a temple(i am married), I was given 5 sets of 3 and am not sure how that sits with 3 sets of 3 as mentioned here?
