Chhath Puja is dedicated to the sun god and observed for four days during the hindu lunar month of Kartik. Araghya is offered to the god with complete devotion. God Kartikeaya and Chhathi Mayya is also worshiped during this puja. According to hindu scriptures, this Puja is being performed since ancient time by Draupadi.
